I really want a CRF and have done since around 2017, but can only have the one bike but am seriously thinking of trading my Tiger 800 for one but don't want to give up power on the road.

You deff would miss the power on the road. Driving from Exeter to Hayle today (A30 to get home.) was fricking horrible on the 300L. That torrential downpour didn’t help! Flooding in Truro today. But on the lanes the 300L is so stress free. As long as it’s under 60mph I love the CRF. But for motorway speeds I really miss my Tenere 700.

@@biscuitsalive I live in a very rural area but about 45-60 mins from Salisbury plains and other lanes plus 80% of roads I ride are 40-60 mph limits anyway only thing I will probably miss is when I ride with a few mates on adventure bikes on longer rides, would it happily stick a 60/70mph on A roads for shorter periods?? Thanks mate love the channel been watching since the T7 !

@@funnyfarm6136 it sits at 70mph fine. Can do bit over 80 at a push. Think the engine can take 60-70 mph for very long periods without a problem. But it is vibey at continuous motorway speed. Not bad for a single pot. Better than others. But I did get tingly hands after a long A30 run. Seat isn’t comfy. Fine for half an hour. But hurts after an hour or so. If doing long runs a seat concept seat will be a worthy upgrade. I find myself standing up lots on long journeys just to give my ass a break. And if it rains at motorway speeds. Zero wind protection. So that rain is whacking you in face at 70mph. (Actually hurts my nose when wearing goggles) So the 300rally or a add on screen would be advisable for long trips in all weather. (I still like my choice of the slightly lighter, smaller easy to fit in van 300L… but can see where the 300rally would be better)

@@biscuitsalive thanks so much for the reply mate, think I may just take one for a test ride. Wish I could have multiple bikes would make it so much easier! Looking forward to the Devon TET vid, keep up the good work.
