@@TheBigBraap cheers. I started out doing vids on the Cornwall bit of TET. But I did that in very short sections. So probably too long winded, video wise. But as I was new to riding off road it maybe useful for new riders at least I guess. :) I haven’t struck the balance right yet I don’t think between making it useful by including lots of information, AND entertaining. But it’s fun trying none the less.

Super footage and gives a very good impression of this very nice route! Other question. I will participate the land's end trail next year. I need some advice because after finishing this trail i want to return to dover by riding TET routes and as you ride a lot of this route i hope you will help me. How can i contact you ? Kind regards, Martin (netherlands)

This is gold! I am planning to do some of TET somewhere, maybe SW, maybe in the Lake District or maybe North Wales in mid August 2024. I will be riding solo so in order to avoid getting stuck I am researching as much as possible about tricky sections and hazards. Your content is exactly what I need. Is there a map resource which has colour coded labelled sections to indicate which parts are tarmac/gravel/mud/rocky? I'm thinking blue run, red run, black run like a skiing map. Lastly, which GPX navigator do you use/recommend?

@@motomoto2296 hi. Glad it’s useful. No maps with graded sections I’m Afraid. At least none I know of. Always best to walk ahead if it gets suddenly steep etc. just in case. This may help regarding gpx app- kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJrOdHaKn8ieqK8si=JVkM_eOZlHdYuylq

Brilliant video as ever, but the GPX I have for Topsham doesn't go anywhere near the estuary :)

Is that the latest GB TET gpx from the trans euro trail website? I updated mine fairly recently as I got a new phone last month. So pretty sure mine is up to date. But will check it later.
@ExeterCenturion2 жыл бұрын
@@biscuitsalive i thought it was. Still goes through Topsham but doesn’t enter the estuary as from memory the mud is hellish. I have it as a layer on Google maps.

@@ExeterCenturion I will download the TET gpx again later today and drag it into gpx studio. Maybe they changed it very recently. That actual line in my phone seems to skirt the land. Doesn’t look like it goes into the estuary. But there are notes on the route and that is what it says. Tidal route. So think I figured it out correctly. But didn’t know before I got there obviously. Was rather confusing.

@@biscuitsalive did you go down Bowling Green Road? The route I have goes along Bridge Hill > elm Grove Road > Station Road - High Street
@biscuitsalive2 жыл бұрын
@@ExeterCenturion I just downloaded the latest from TET.org and my version is the same (as on my phone) It comes down bowling green road in topsham, then down river street. And there is a info point warning it’s a tidal ford and NOT to ride on footpath. So I did go the correct way. And the latest still goes up the one way street the wrong way too.

Have you any plans to do the Somerset section next?

Maybe. Just got a husqvarna 701 so that has plenty of legs for longer runs. Have you done it? Is it good?
