Do you have a video on replacing the turbo? I cannot find one anywhere. I have to replace a turbo on a t300 for my boss but i have never done it before
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
I don't have a video of turbo replacement, lots of different engine - turbo combinations but it's a straight forward process. The rusty nuts and studs will fight you so don't be surprised if some studs snap, use heat when you can. Don't forget to prelube the new turbo before you hook up the lines and turn engine over with starter without starting for 15 seconds to prime oil lines. If you have any specific questions let me know.

Any comments/experience on an all aluminum, aftermarket rad? OEM rad cost is out of the budget.

I do not have much experience with the aftermarket radiators, sorry.

@@tetradgroup I removed the OEM rad and removed the plastic tank that had the leak. No cracks in the tank so I used the Toyota RTV sealant on both sides of the rubber seal and installed the tank by bending the fingers back using a small channel lok pliers Used 3 long clamps to compress the tank & seal before I bent the fingers back. Will see how long the rad lasts.

Please help. My machine is not a bobcat but you might be able to help. The machine sat in a warehouse for 6 years when I found it and rescued it. It is a Gehl SL4640 and the problem I have is that ALL of the hydraulics are locked. It was not like that when it was parked 6 years ago, it had an oil leak that the owner was told was a main seal, so he parked it and never touched it again. I bought it and found that it had dropped a motor mount and the engine oil pan was rubbing against a bolt head that was holding the main hydraulic line in place. So, I drilled the hole and tapped it--no leaks. When I start the machine it goes to move and it hits a wall (like there is a dowel in the motor, the same with the boom and bucket, they start to move and you can feel them hit some kind of lock out pin or something. Pumps (std and High flow) test good and i can get wheel motors to power through but they become uncontrollable and dangerous with no ability to steer well. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Someone told me that the parking break was not getting power by the looks of the button on the cluster. All of the buttons push out (kinda reset) to show they have power but the parking brake button stays limp and will not reset, kinda like a tripped GFi outlet, it will not reset and just stays floppy while the others give resistance.

What causes the 753 battery to be drained so fast, If you put a brand new battery in there and it only last for half hour or hour of use? Any battery that is 2 months or older, after using it for 15 minutes, the machine will start to lock up on you. The higher the power you Rev up, the faster it drains the battery.

How do you bleed the system
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
I just run the engine with the cap off the expansion tank and top it off accordingly. Getting air trapped in the engine usually is not a problem on these machines.

That dirty radiator probably caused it to overheat and then leak😢

The more i see bobcat repairs the more it reminds me of what a pathetic design some parts are . I know they have very limited space to work in , but you would think they would make a better way to service the gap between the oil cooler and radiator . That was horrific to see when you removed the oil cooler , my eyes popped out .
