That is one hell of a TPM you got there. I won't count it but I average it between 85 and 95. Which is uber fast. Very nice run Wumbo! Edit: It took roughly 19 seconds to place 40 tetriminos. In TPM that is 126. This is the very beginning. I hope you enjoyed that little fact.

Perfect Clear is only possible while your board contains an even number of blocks. Notice how the board is 10-wide, and each tetrimino adds 4 blocks to it. The only way to change the parity of your board's block count is by being sent garbage lines.

It's on purpose. Having a high stack makes the game think you're vulnerable to KOs, so anyone targeting KOs would target him. Wumbo can then target the attackers and overpower the attackers with his speed, then KO them when appropriate.

He is baiting other players into targeting him. This gives him a huge attack boost. AFAIK, the attack boost is additive, so if he has an attack boost of 10 or so, it's more efficient to make singles which do 1+10 damage than tetrises which do something like 5+10 damage.
