【Tetris Effect: Connected】Score Attack reaching Lv35

Nothing happens until 150LINES.
In Lv35, you cannot move pieces to the edge of the field. Thus current limit we can reach is Lv35 or Lv36. (I'm looking for new methods to get over this difficulty...)
Lv35ではブロックを端まで持って行けないので現状ではLv35かLv36ぐらいが到達限界です．画期的な方法ないかなあ．．．

For reference, here’s the Score Attack speed levels beyond lv19, along with its Master mode equivalent. Lv19 = M1 (30f lock delay + 30f for a line to clear) Lv20 = M3 (30f lock delay + 24f for a line to clear) Lv21 = M5 30f lock delay + 18f for a line to clear) Lv22 = M7 (30f lock delay + 12f for a line to clear) Lv23 = M9 (30f lock delay + 6f for a line to clear) Lv24 = M12 (24f lock delay) Lv25 = M14 (21f lock delay) Lv26 = M15 (18f lock delay) Lv27 = M18 (15f lock delay) Lv28 = M20 (12f lock delay) Lv29 = M25 (9f lock delay) Lv30 = M29 (6f lock delay) Lv31 = M30 (5f lock delay)

I wonder if After level 33-34 It starts doing the thing like in Classic where levels repeat the Lock delay, or have a floating Lock delay to maintain the game playable. Weird enough, there is still 2 frames between tetriminos

At that point, the game pretty much says "No fun allowed".

I imagine a TAS reaching speed level 40

According to a Google Sheet, the lock delay on Lv40 is supposed to be 20ms! That’s 4.6x faster than level M30 in Master mode!

I am not an expert on Score Attack, but I wonder if you could use some sort of center REN/combo well to get to Lv36. In my head I imagine making a center 2, 3, or 4-wide REN/combo well with a flat surface covering the top to get pieces on both sides. On the last line of Lv34 (239) you would transition to Lv35 by clearing away the top surface, allowing for the remaining pieces to simply fall into the REN/combo well to clear lines. That may be enough to get 10 lines for Lv36 but probably not for Lv37.

Yes. It is the most doable method currently, but more practice is needed because Lv34 is too difficult for me to make steady stacking... In this method Lv36 is reachable

So I played this back frame by frame, and the lock delay for lv35 is like 3 or 4 frames wtf

I wonder if score attack can use the same input methods as classic? That would allow for rolling and thus 30 Hz 2-3f stacking

I think it does but quite difficult (for me, a keyboard player...), but since DAS cannot lead players farther Hypertap or Rolling is the only way I currently can think of

They should probably update to how it is on GM where the ARR gets faster the higher the levels

omg, that speed increase from 34 to 35 is insane. Do you think there should be some way of still be able to handle pieces from 35+?

Actually, I haven't come up with any ideas yet...rotating pieces while moving them didn't work.

@@runningoutrate6509 I was thinking more about actually changing something in the game mechanics itself, like increasing DAS, or using a speed limit after level 34

@@shompiflen well, it is possible by analyzing memory address in which values such as DAS, speed limit etc are in. If you know how computer programs work it's not very difficult. However, modifying games (or making Lv35 easier) in order to reach Lv36+ is not what I'm aiming to do since my objective is to get over Lv35+ by practicing and to be able to handle pieces in high Lv.
