Yeah I didnt bother with the c4w pause strat because turns out I'm terrible at building the side pillars evenly. Ended up just playing journey mode a bunch and going for side 2w like I usually do. I'll have to use the c4w pause strats for impossibilitris though, whenever I get to that.

You can get up to 20 (which is called Ultimatris) without abusing prerotates and stuff and by trying for long enough, but yeah it's hard to get it consistently

Yeah I'm not dead, I just got stuck in the middle of moving out from France to England when covid happened, so all of my stuff is still in France. I'll probably be more active again when I finish moving out, as i'll have my own space and won't be sharing a small house with the entirety of my bf's family.

I though the easier way to make a kirbtris was to play 4wide - center.

The c4w way allows you to pause and get a perfect clear finder to tell you how to finish so it is probably easier for most, but I'm terrible at building the side columns and I could never get them even at 21-high, so I went with my usual side-2w strat, and covered most of row 21 at the end. If I ever go for impossibilitris though, I'll most certainly have to use the c4w strat.

It's possible to get 21 if you're extremely lucky but if you want a 21+ in a reasonable amount of RNG then yeah prerotate is a must have, prehold can help too
