Frootloop Junction Yes but with the constant A’s it is easy for a musician to not see the flat symbol but if the note is in a different spot( in this case G# instead of Ab) the musician is more likely to notice.
@jorgeguimaraes88204 жыл бұрын
@@qwink6346 and also, the chord (harmony) being played is a dominant E, which has a G#, not an Ab

Nice work, transcribing by ear. Others have pointed out the A♭/G♯ thing. The difference is important, so you know where you are in harmonic context. The other notation matter is in the second-last bar (measure). It's pretty rare for a dotted note to have staccato. Make it a staccato quarter, a staccato eighth, a plain eighth, or a plain dooted-eighth. The two dots have a contradictory message! Although they have quite defined meanings, an ordinary dot has the sub-text of "longer", amd a staccato dot has the sub-text of "shorter".

When I thought I could play this on trombone because bassoon and trombone read the same music, tempo wise this is basically impossible on a trombone unless you have a fast arm/wrist and you know how to double and triple tongue, which I really don’t have either of those abilities, this sounds amazing tho.

Its like a score for piano. Why not trade the parts - give the bassoons a rest? Both parts are equally difficult so its not expecting too much from a player and it would add variety. Also vary up the texture add some rests, maybe some staccato or something.

Maybe take bassoon 1 to higher E and bassoon 2 to A. Also, double check barring of quarter notes so the beat is clearly displayed. Ie, eighth rest with a written quarter note should be written as an eighth rest with tied eighths notes after.
