Tü yo sho yi, Noel pokü sü - Isreal Küdeyo Münuyi Te!
The angels sang - The King of Isreal is born - bringing the first Noel to us.
The First Noel is a popular and beloved traditional Christmas Carol. It stands out to us because it is our mother’s favourite Christmas song and for long she has been asking us to record it for our Annual Christmas releases. This one is especially for her translated into Chokri with the help of Mom and Dad. This year, throughout the Pandemic, we planned to do something special for Christmas and yet time seems to have just flown by and it is almost Christmas. We are just glad that we have each other safe and sound. We do have more coming up to commemorate a memorable year in our human existence. Thank you for tuning in.
Hope you are blessed by the warmth of Christmas as we continue to find a reason to celebrate and count our blessings. Merry Christmas to you all. God bless you and your loved ones.
"The First Nowell" is of Cornish origin. Its current form was first published in Carols Ancient and Modern (1823) and Gilbert and Sandys Carols (1833), both of which were edited by William Sandys and arranged, edited and with extra lyrics written by Davies Gilbert for Hymns and Carols of God.
