Thank you reacting to acid angel 🤗💖 i got into tripleS right before yooyeon debuted. until then, i had no idea they existed. i just happened to stumble upon a comment that it was a new group being formed by jaden jeong. so i started watching their daily vlogs. so far, my bias line is jiwoo, soomin, and yubin. i think it's a good idea for agencies to release pre-debut content to get to know the members, because like you said, it hits different when they debut. I didn't know if acid angel would be my cup of tea, but i absolutely adore them. i have high hopes for krystal eyes now, because they're supposed to be the brighter unit 🥰i actually would not be surprised if future members reveal that they auditioned after seeing acid angel/krystal eyes debut 😋

i was listening to random unpopular kpop opinion videos and the narrator mentioned jaden jeong's new girl group, i love the work of that man with loona's early discography, so i've check their introduction trailer, i was impressed and check the official channel, kim chaeyeon (my bias) just got reveal that week, i eventually do a back track watching all their signal videoto know her more, and now i'm obsessed 😅

It's not a drastic change. If you started stanning Kpop from the first Gen, you would know that this change is notmal and recurring for every shift of generation. First, the dominating concept for kpop girl group changes every gen. Secondly, looking at the current dominant concept for girl groups, which is the girl crush concept, the sound and song structure prevalent for the girl crush concept of 1st gen differs to that of 2nd gen and moreso to that of the 3rd gen girl crush concept. These differences are such as the progression and eventual regression of edm, the infusion of reggaeton then moonbaton, the egyptian/indian accompaniment, the introduction of trap music, the removal of lyrical chorus, and lastly, the mixing of different song composition into one structure.
