It definitely is plated. I sandblasted one through the chrome plating to the copper coating and to the zinc case.

My husband recently bought that same watch, but with a red dial and pepsi colored bezel, just for kicks and giggles. I had never even heard of the Tevise brand. I honestly wanted to make fun of him for buying this and expecting to receive a decent automatic watch. Once it finally arrived, we were both amazed at just how nice it actually was, considering the price. He managed to nab it under 20 bucks. I loved it so much I ended up purchasing a Tevise for myself. One that looked less manly haha. It's become my favorite watch to wear! I'm not a watch person myself so I imagine I'm probably the target audience for this brand. 100% satisfied. Even if it doesn't last for a year, I can always buy a new one 😁

I got my Tevise Hulk (Rolex Hulk homage) last June at the end of June i think. In September the winding broke down, it could no longer be handwinded i had to give it a Seiko shake to start it up. In Marz this month the crown screwed off when i was going to set the date. But the movement ticks on it shows a rather exact time, i tried to fix the crown with a drop of superglue. I have worn a lot these months, it have aboug 12 hours of power reserve, typically for a Tongji movement.

i had one of these, it lasted about 4 months then fell to bits. the router, well it didn't rotate unless you were having some sort of fit. so i had to wind it, it felt like grinding sand. then the winder broke off and the innards fell apart. but i am glad you like yours, guess you got lucky

I have this watch with a black bezel. I think mine must be slightly better than yours. My cyclops is aligned fairly well. It tells the time, and I got it off of Amazon for $17. I cant complain. It's the only watch in my collection other than one seiko that I comfortably wear at work and don't much worry about if I damage it.

Wow, for under 30 bucks it’s impressive for sure, bezel seems like the 30 dollar Lige omega homage that I got, it works, sorta....and yeah, why put that chronometer info on there, that’s a little silly, a lot silly actually. For 30 bucks pretty fantastic over all. Agree, appears to be an alloy case for sure, but again at that price point.....if it’s the look you want, you def get it in this watch!
