Tip to watch this video, put in 2x speed, you are gonna listen as a little slower than a normal person talking but at least is closer to a regular speed
@AvgJoeWatchReviews9 сағат бұрын
I actually tried your “tip”. 2x is too fast yet 1.5x was surprisingly normal. I’d recommend 1.5x.

I am waiting for the new Sinn 903 ST ii: 200m/ 20 ATM of water resistance and by and large a better quality for a third of the Breitling Navitimer price... No brainer

I bought a Berny white dial about 2 years ago. Wear it every day, and I think I have only had to adjust the time 3 or 4 times in 2 years. I can set it, then check it 3 months later and it's still keeping near perfect time.
@ModernClassic5 күн бұрын
Breitling makes dive watches if you want to swim with your watch. The Navitimer's a pilot watch and always has been. This isn't a flaw, it's a design decision.

I own 3 luminox watches. The blackout sea turtle 0321 44mm 0300 sea turtle 39mm And the 44mm sea turtle 0321 with the white hands and red second hand. Only the blackout fogged in the bath, I’ve had the blackout since 2020 and it’s never needed a new battery even but only the condensation happened. “Always visible” my ass.

I would've thought the standard ETA movement was the biggest con on this one. Probably the best looking watch I have seen in some time

Another way to work out the tip would be as a percentage. Say you wanted to leave a 30% tip on an €80 bill. If you rotate the outer 80 until it lines up with the inner 10 that effectively means 80 = %100. Any number on the inner scale is now a percentage of 80 and if you look at the inner 30, you'll see it lines up with the outer 24. 30% of 80 = 24.

Would it be very difficult to put in another movement? I really like the case. What movement would most likely fit?

Bought this on a light blue rubber strap and deep blue sunburst dial. Got a GREAT buy for $995 for a new Super Sea Wolf ceramic from a Zodiac AD during the early spring months. A fun watch to wear and gives the wrist some pop. Haven't seen go on sale since. TYVM for a great vid

Solar powered battery watches all brands life varies from four or more years they are like a vehicle battery can be recharged ie by solar or Kinetic alternator energy they need replacing. As regards to the watch running with no battery solar panel in dial will let the watch run on two second hand intervals if you take the watch in a dark room it will stop no light to solar panel you at least know the panel is functioning to charge the battery

I love Zodiac and would love one of the models with ceramic bezel and bright colors, but they seem large. It looked very stout on your wrist.

This swiss town is pronounced “la lokel”, and it is home to the brands Favre-Leuba, Mido, Zodiac, Tissot, Ulysse Nardin, Zenith, Montblanc, Certina and Universal Genève.

Zodiac makes such great looking. Watches, just a shame about those movements. I'd be happier if they used miyota or NH lol. The accuracy isn't my issue with them. It's how long it will make it before imploding

Great review, my friend. I really like Zodiac. I have the Super Sea Wolf Compression Z09291 white-blue color combo, which I bought in April of this year as it was being discontinued and paid $690 brand new, which is a steal. Mine runs a little more accurately, I believe, no more than +10sec per day max. BTW, I also have the Heritor homage, which I bought first after your review, lol. Great homage. Thank you for your great review and for sharing your thoughts. God bless, brother.

FYI the claim that Zodiac released the Seawolf in 1953 is completely made up. Zero evidence the watch came out before 1957/1958. Look up "Debunking the Fictious History of the Zodiac Seawolf" if you're interested in a really well-researched article I say that as someone who loves the brand and owns 6 lol. Also re: value for money, unless there's a limited colorway you are absolutely in love with my recommendation would be to wait until you can get them on deep clearance (at least 50% off MSRP)

It's a beautiful piece. I own two Zodiacs. One is a Super Sea Wolf 68 50th Anniversary Edition. It's one of my favorite watches. Swiss Technology Production, the manufacturer of STP movements is owned by the Fossil Group so technically they are in house. They are based on the ETA 2824-2. Hope you are well brother.
@obesetuna31649 күн бұрын
Fair play to the Fossil Group for re-launching this classic brand. While I am not a dive watch kind of guy, these are some of the most attractive dials to be had. The Zodiac Olympos is more my kind of thing. I just love the design and feel mighty tempted.

The Mondaine is a classic and to me sits more in the category of a dress watch. I opted for the Berny because I love lume and the brushed finish can take more of a beating. I only paid $99 Canadian dollars for it, which was too good of a deal to pass up. That said, would I like to have the Mondaine as part of my collection? You bet!

Good value for money watches. Great entry luxury brand. I own a 1995 vintage Raymond Weil “TANK”. Wears super well on the wrist, 18k yellow gold plated on the case so that it gives off that luxurious shine. It’s a very great alternative to the Cartier Tank and much cheaper as well tbh. But for an entry luxury brand vs a luxury brand, you can’t really compare their prices but it wears just as good.

I have put 3 batteries in my watch over a 12yr period, I'm sick of it . I'm going with only automatic winding watches now, specifically Tissot, which has a good price point, and the powermatic 80 movement is rock solid.

It's pretty cool. Actually, I live in the same neighborhood in Lancaster, PA as the Lancaster watch factory. They've converted it to apartments at this point but every time I look out my window the big clock towers glare at me. I actually just bought my first Hamilton watch this week because I wanted to own some of the rich history of Lancaster PA
