There is a delay of 10 seconds to able to press the power and turn it on. I pushed the power many times so that when it is the right time it will turn on. it is not going to turn on if you keep pressing the power button, so I press it rapidly.

The flux is not used for cosmetic reasons...it helps the solder to attach exactly to the board and to the element pins and is always needed.!!!
