Roddy was so likeable, great contender and seemed so happy to be there. Really wish he beat Brian. He'd have still lost to either Phil or Deano in the Final but if things went his way a bit more in his quarter final he'd have made it to the Final as Steve was lucky to face 2 guys who were crap on the Eliminator and even when replaced by Gary who was great on the games, he wasn't that good on the eliminator.

Jet always looks magnificent. I came here specifically to comment on her. She's my favorite gladiator, regardless of which national incarnation we're talking about. Admittedly, I've only seen the American and UK versions so far, but I can't imagine anyone being more entertaining (and drop dead gorgeous) than her.

@@DamienDrake Yeah, but there were sometimes when Jet's magnificence peaked at unbearable levels, to the point where I simply HAVE TO COMMENT!!!!! And speaking of American Gladiators, have you seen their Diamond Gladiator from the 1989-92 period!!!!! In my book, when she cut down on the muscle and became lithe, she was their breathtaking version of Jet, pretty much!!!!!!! :P

Also the end credits include an image of Powerball and one of Suspension Bridge that are not from this episode!
