@@swaslaukinonome Not from Ingram. The logic behind acknowledging Brandel is understanding that the Vikes waited 4 years while Brandel developed into a viable starter. Ingram was thrown in as a rookie and held his own. He is only two years into that journey and we are seeing Ingram make his mistakes in public, where Brandel largely got to make his mistakes in private. Brandel single handedly caused the big loss to Dallas in 2022 when he came on at 10-3 when Darrisaw was concussed. 4 plays later they were 24-3 down. Ingram has the upside, Risner doesn't. Ingram just deserves the same patience that Brandel got.

A telling stat re the Vikings would be how do opponent PFF grades change AFTER they play the Vikings? My guess is that their grades go up, especially their QB grades. Also telling is that the Vikings are winning not by brutalizing their opponents, but by out-maneuvering them. Physical yes, but they are not putting helmets on helmets or knees, like some teams do. Minnesota plays clean football, something its fans are proud of.

I still think it's 50/50 we lose him. Suing the league might keep him here a little longer. He definitely deserves to be a HC though, and I'm gonna cheer for whoever he coaches when he gets that chance. He's done so much for us.

@@williamjones4185 I think this team is so asymmetric on both sides of the balls. I don’t think “titles” are really anymore more than pay grades on a KOC team. Everything I’ve seen him do. He listens to his players, to his staff, and he communicates very well with Kwesi. I think if it came to B-Flo being the same pay grade as KOC and given what he already has, the freedom to get what he wants. All these defensive picks, he personally selected them. He finally got a chance to build that side of the ball he wanted. Look at the guys we got that are turning into monsters. Pace, Mettelus, Bynum, Greenars, VG. Frickin Redmond who was practice squad, never played a single NFL down.

Could someone please help me understand how you get these metrics? Nico Collins had 4 catches, on 10 targets. Less than half his targets he caught. Stefon Diggs caught 10 out of 12? Darrisaw got hurt. How is Greenard 2nd? He easily performed the best.

@@kevinathans4191 I’ve seen pff grade quarterbacks for underthrown balls when both cover defenders were farther down the field than the receiver. Even though, the ball was placed in the only spot the receiver could catch the ball. A lot of grades pff puts out is subjective and not objective.

Stroud didn’t strike me as a QB who’s easily rattled but basically from the jump he was making uncharacteristic bad throws and decisions. Notable as well that the Houston run game was completely shut down, CJ was always in 3rd and long situations.

That offense is based on run game and play action. Missing first and second string RB and the run game was non existent. Viking keyed on that

I suspect that that early interception got in his head, and the crazy Vikings defense threw him off his groove for the whole rest of the game. All those penalties too, like three false starts in a row, I don't think that was solely a lack of discipline on their part. All the noise and mental warfare the Vikings defense was waging on them were factors in that. Some say that they just played bad, but I would argue that the Vikings were at least partially responsible for making them play bad. Sometimes one team just rattles another with things they weren't prepared for, and they never manage to recover.

Greenard plays differently than Hunter. Hunter fits the 4-3 scheme better which Houston wants to run. Greenard is more of a 3-4 edge/line backer. Pure talent Hunter is better. It's whatever the scheme allows them to do. Hunter was also able to play the 3-4 to a degree just not as good on the drop backs. In a 4-3 he doesn't drop back and just does what he does best.

Vikings fan here. Danielle is great but he had a serious neck injury a few years ago and the loss of flexibility is noticeable. Watch his sack celebration now compared to a few years ago. He should still be productive but as he approaches 30 I think his best days are behind him

This segment brought to you by people who looked at the numbers and not the game. Stroud actually played really well, he wasn't thrown by the coverages, it was all his big plays kept getting called back by O-line penalties and put way behind the sticks. One int was the o-line got pushed in and the DT got his hands up and deflected the pass. The other Stroud thought the receiver was going to sit in the zone and they kept running.
