Harbaugh is top 5/6 in the league, Monken is coming off B2B championships with Georgia and has taken Lamar to new heights in this new offense, and McDonald has embarrassed almost every elite offensive mind in football this season. Did you watch the past few ravens playoff games? If you did you wouldn’t be saying this stuff. Lamar’s first year the playoff game against the chargers I give him zero blame, he was a rookie and the coaches refused to adjust to that crazy 6-7 db defense the chargers were using to counter lamar. But the other games? No way you could watch those games and tell me lamar played well. Tons of missed throws and bad turnovers. Again it’s not all on him, the coaches messed up, especially with going for it on so many 4th downs in the titans game but he objectively played poorly. This Ravens team is one of the best teams of all time. Their offense started the season slow but it was a new offense,. Right now there's no one that can stop them.. The Defense is the first in the nfl to lead the league in points alowed, sacks, and take aways. The team has an absolute wealth of talent, both young and veteran. They have the best run stopping MLB in the league the best coverage MLB in the league, the best Safety in the league, the league leading Safety in INTs and the best pass rush in the league. They have the #1 rushing Offense, They have 4 1st round WRs, and the Youngest 2× MVP and All time QB rushing leader Lamar Jackson.. They set the record for most victories over winning teams in a season a record that might never get broken, And they have absolutely destroyed every good team they've come across, They are a few bad plays away from being undefeated. Anything less than the Lombardi is a disappointment, You'll never see a team this talented again.

Mahomes ~ Tyreek Hill and Kelce were already on the Roster along with one of the greatest offensive coaches of this generation. Who have they brought in since? They’ve drafted and tried to develop guys ~ who haven’t worked out. Or mid free agent WR’s Jalen Hurts- traded for AJ Brown. Because Tennessee couldn’t afford him. The Eagles are in severe cap trouble and have serious depth issues because they invested 300 million dollars into two players. But AJ Brown is great. The overall team isn’t. They will be getting worse to. Who else has great WR and is an elite QB and what have their teams done. Would you rather Lamar have Tyreek Hill and Waddle (and understand your defense wouldn’t have Roquan, or many others because your investing ask much into the offense. You give credit to the Ravens organization for having winning seasons in 20 of the past 25 years. For establishing a brand and a culture that is unmatched in the modern game. What makes Mike McDonald's defense so extraordinary is since it's a primarily zone-based scheme it is not nearly as reliant on star power as most man-to-man defenses that rely on incredibly good corners to lock down WR's. McDonald's scheme does require stars, but mostly in the middle of the defense (Defensive Tackle, Inside Linebackers, Safeties) and that's where Baltimore spent the money. Justin Madubuike had a phenomenal season (13 sacks), Queen played his best season yet, Roquan Smith is damn near Ray Lewis 2.0, and Kyle Hamilton was all-pro with Marcus Williams and Geno Stone both playing exceptionally. You'd be hard pressed to name the corners on this team outside of Marlon Humphrey who has been injured a lot of the year. Did anything think the #1 scoring defense would have Darby, Stephens, and Ya-Sin as the starting corners? Are you crazy? The corners don't have to be superstars because the zone scheme ensures plenty of help from the linebackers and safeties in coverage.

This is why it's soo important to do great in the regular season so you can have home field advantage- especially when you're a southern team. But ultimately, no matter how the ball of stadium location falls, to a very high degree, climate matters.
