There’s always going to be some amount of, frankly, immature young fans - there’s a new one born every day - but I think most Bills fans are just bummed that they couldn't get it done with him on the team. Allen/Diggs was special. Everyone wanted them to keep playing together long enough to break every record on the way to a championship, so it’s bittersweet.

Vikings fan here. I have no doubt in Stefon's ability to shake and bake on the field. One of the most gifted in the game. What I struggle with is his attitude. On the surface, it feels like only good things- competitive, grit, a seasoned perspective on what takes to win at the highest level. It's whats on the inside that I question. I see someone who deep down still carries a victim mentality and uses this brand of swagger- this smooth, quick talking demeanor as a smoke screen. It just doesn't feel humble in the right place. And I wonder if others feel the same. Hopefully C.J Stroud helps find the goodness in this man and helps shed his ego. I know you need to be confident to survive in the NFL. But Id steer clear of narcissism man...its not healthy.

Last year the Taxans played a last place schedule and went 10-7. This year they will play a 1st place schedule so it will be a good test for this team. You can cherry pick this year at 30.3 million, but the organization is preparing for the next couple years… 60.7, 56.4, & 49.45 million… Every big contract is restructured and redirected to bonus money so it’s less on the cap, but eventually that becomes dead money towards the cap. Which makes kicking the can down the road even more stressful on the team to build a championship team. The only cap friendly QB deal out there that works is the Mahomes contract, which is super long with just under 150 million guaranteed over a long period of time, so any restructure moved to bonus, doesn’t hurt against the dead money as much. Allens contract is not what you have been feed by the Bills upper brass. It’s a pay me contract, back loaded with a larger percentage bulk of 150 mil of 258 mil in guarantees in 6 years… It’s not a good place to be as a franchise to now have to retool your core with a huge QB deal on the books… Just wait till he gets the next one. Brady and Mahomes understood this, obviously Allen doesn’t care.

Diggs took a team friendly deal at 18.5 million a year when he could have got way more… so when Allen gets this back loaded “pay me contract” it would rub anyone the wrong way. Diggs knew their window was closing, so every int and overthrow is magnified. The situation built, and the team chose. They put this Diva narrative to hide the bad moves and compounded it with taking on even more dead money this year… cause next year that 30 million in Diggs dead money goes towards the additional 30 million going to Allen next. So it doesn’t get better!
