I was at this game. Legendary. Damn near walked out in the fourth quarter. Convinced my dad not to leave because of Aggie Pride, saw many people leaving, We stay out of our seats, ready to go at any moment then enters the final seconds and immediately explosion in the crowd, boom overtime. Everybody is pumped up except the people that left early, they were not re-allowed entry and went to hotels to watch the remainder!!

My parents got in the way of me watching historic games in the 90's; and I had to wait till 2009 to discover how to download them. This era, our women get in the way and we can still watch the game next day or hours later with torrents. Archive and watch it a dozen times.

In that morning before this game started, me, my dad, my oldest uncle (Durben Miller Jr. and my stepmom (Mechelle Miller) got a goodnight's sleep. My looked and felt relaxed. We packed our clear game bags, had a good breakfast, and drove to that game. We parked in lot h, walked to the buffet tent, and had a good meal. Before Texas A&M, Missouri, and Arkansas transferred from Big 12 to SEC (Southeastern Conference), Kevin Sumlin was hired as a Head Coach. Under Sumlin, he got fired after losing 6 times vs. LSU. In January of 2018, Jimbo Fisher left job as a Florida State Head Coach and got hired as a Head Coach. It is going to be different because of him. He wants the seniors to stay on task while preparing for the senior presentation vs. the weaker teams before moving on without any distraction. Me and my family watched the players warmup before the game starts. During halftime show, the aggie band performed on the field All of the sudden, the LSU players came out of the visitor locker room. They're getting ready to warm up and got on the field and the fans were not happy at all. Luckily, the speaker hosts told the players to get off the field. At 36 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter, the aggies quarterback threw the interception. The whole fans thought the game is over early. I shook hands with 2 LSU fans on my right side in my section and said, "Good game you guys." You can see the LSU bench started celebrating too early, LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron took a ice sports drink bath and thr ice cubes were on the turf. That is hilarious! However, the refs looked at the review screen and noticed that the quarterback's knee is down and picked up the ball at the same time. After we made 3-4 plays, we spiked the ball. 2 plays later, we hurried and spiked the ball at 1 second on the game clock. After we made a one final snap, you can see the ball is coming at the end zone and scored a touchdown. It was tied of 31. You can hear the whole crowd screamed like hell. In OT, LSU got the ball to score a field after loss the coin toss. After the aggies scored a field goal, it was tied of 34. In 2OT, the aggies scored a touchdown first before LSU tie the game (tied of 41). In 3OT, both teams must go for 2-point conversion. LSU scored first before the aggies (tied of 49). In 4OT, when both teams scored that time, it was tied of 52 because they failed a touchdown. In 5OT, both scored a touchdown, but failed a 2-point conversion (tied of 58). In 6OT, both scored (tied of 66). In 7OT, when LSU scored a touchdown this time, they failed a 2-point conversion (72-66). The aggies scored a touchdown, but made a false start. After they retry the snap, they made a 2-point conversion (74-72). I collapsed to the ground and screamed like hell. The whole crowd screamed like hell. I gave with my dad and my uncle Durben. After that, I shook hands to the LSU fans and told them, "Good game you guys! You did nothing wrong because you're in a better ranked than I am. Before exiting the stadium or the section, I gave hugs to the rest of the aggie fans.

On that game tying drive in the forth quarter, Texas A&M had more lives than a cat: There was the qb being down on the fumbled snap that turned over an interception, the receiver being well short of the first down on the subsequent forth down conversion, and then having one second left when they spiked the ball before throwing the game tying touchdown.

1. Thanks to the poster for editing the commercials out. There are lots of games uploaded on KZbin with commercials still in place. It sucks for me since I just like to have it playing in the background while I'm doing something else and not have to keep going over to fast forward it. I'm actually watching this while at the same time every TV channel I'm turning to is at commercial break. I just watched this entire amazing game--and I can't say enough bad things about the announcers. They are robotic, uninteresting, focused on minute details instead of the overall context. Instead of talking about how remarkable and amazing of a ballgame it was, instead of highlighting the fighting spirit of both teams, they made wry jokes about it being the next day and "even the referee is tired of this game." Meanwhile the fans didn't waiver, the athletes didn't waiver and the coaches never quit. Instead of being in awe of history being made, they were simply narrating what was plain and obvious--what player caught what, and what run was made. I'd have love to hear this pxp'd by any of the NFL guys, they could absolutely capture the spirit of what was happening. These two deserve to maybe narrate a low-tier jv high school or pop warner game, if the dad who usually does it is off that day.

Cooper Atkinson actually in college and nfl the receiver has to gain possession and then make a full football move for it to be a competition. I watched this game live, and although every close call seemed to go A&M's way, I thought the refs got each call right. The qb's knee was down, giving them another play. The fumble/incompletion call in OT was absolutely 1000% correct. The spike play was not illegal formation. What LSU should be upset with is the multiple skinny post completions their db's gave up on 3rd or 4th and long. They are supposed to have one of the best secondaries in the nation and they looked like high school kids over and over an over again. LSU should've won this game about 10 times before they lost it, but have no one to blame but themselves. PS. Ed Orgeron is just a huge ogre with no brain cells at all. He throws temper tantrums every time his team gives up a big play instead of stepping up and making the defensive call himself. Crazy; too bad scoring went down in 2021; back in 2018 you figured there'd be more games like this. The story of 2021 CFB is: Defensive Coordinators been watching years of film offseasons, and caught up. The OT games this season involved scoreless periods, which seemed unthinkable in 2018....In 3 years you'll have OT games where Nobody scored during an OT period? GTFO.

What you gotta love about football; this game is historic for the winner, and Joe Burrow that's most notable for going on to fame and fortune, LOST this duel. Kellen Mond might still have a great future. And the winning coach that the fans had high hopes with in 2018 is currently loathed by the fans in 2023. I love football.

@@bballaggie06 Whelp...... I stand corrected. 4th and 18 on Texas A&M's 39 yard line does indeed put the yard to gain at LSU's 43 yard line. I was unaware that the video team goofed that up. The math checks out.

There's no dispute...GAME OVER with 10 sec run-off...linesman looking right at it and yawns...not to mention maybe two more refs looking that way, including other linesman at top of screen. Procedural calls like that and 12 men on field and delay of game must be called or it's all a joke...no matter how badly they wanted to get A&M into OT.

But check nine men on line before that last snap. No debate...but no one wants to talk about it. Marcus Spears mentioned it on SEC show and was told to get off it behind the scenes. That penalty is a 10 sec run-off, GAME OVER. They were in such a hurry they committed an obvious procedural penalty right in front of linesman...and he ignored it. In an honest, Christian land, what good people of LA and TX would do is admit that the call was bogus and that LSU won the game. Not that results oriented SEC front office is going to reverse but it's called integrity. In part tow of my push for integrity, I'd have a long talk with that crew (with that film frozen right in front of them) and ask which of them wants to get fired besides head linesman or all of them if no one volunteers.
