Texas Airgun Show 2018

A quick video on my trip to Mansfield Texas for the 2018 Texas Airgun Show. I met some fine folks, saw lots of airguns and even got to shoot the Umarex Hammer!

Belated welcome to Texas! Glad you got to shoot the Hammer! I shot both the Hammer and the .25 caliber Gauntlet! Separate ends of the dhooting spectrum! This is the 3rd I've attended. Texas, starting September 2018, allows hunting and taking game animals which include deer (we have lots), antelope (we have lots in SW and up in the Panhandle) turkey (I've had a 100 or more around my ranch home NW of Fort Worth 60 miles), alligators (not me) and squirrels (yea, squirrels are a game animal besides a pest). It's a Golden Age in airgunning! Hope you had a good trip. Glad you got over your health issues!

Hey thank you Ronald! What were your impressions on the Gauntlet .25? Was visiting my parents, and in fact went fishing in a private ranch near Greenwood (video in process), so was in your area! I was thinking squirrel stew...plenty in my parents back yard!

Howzit Joe! Was a pleasure to meet you at the show! Thank you so very much for the props in your video. I am just now getting around to editing and logging into the Tube. I really liked the .25 caliber Gauntlet! I was surprised at the trigger. Not up to my Crown but not a hindrance in accuracy! And quiet, too! I'm definitely going to get the .25 caliber when they are readily available!

Really like my Gauntlet too! My Marauder fits the bill for my .25 caliber, though the .25 Gauntlet is tempting!
