I decide to revisit the iconic abandoned road from the end of the original TX Chainsaw Massacre before it continues to slowly fade further and further away from what was captured on screen in the summer of '73.

It’s developed even more now I just left there. That open field has a brand new building and parking lot so it’s completely gone. Thanks for the video it helped me find the location.

My friend lived in Camden and his balcony looked over this spot! I knew we were close to the movie sight but didn't know we were literally on it. So cool.

Thanks for the video! i think the dry creek bed would've been about where the sidewalk is close to the parking lot. it sucks how much that land has changed. There's also a sinkhole to the left behind the trees. How did it feel being on old quick hill road ?

I think I might’ve figured out where the dry creek beds were too, just as of yesterday. I live less than 2 miles from QHR, so I visit annually, at least. It’s still surreal to get out there every time. I envision everything that happened there when I get up there. I love it. I got some additional footage this week, so another video will be uploaded soon :)

Filmed in Bulgaria thats a huge red flag. Leatherface was filmed in a different country and its was a bag of puke.

@@russrtspooling7702 you were right. I went in with low expectations and because of that, I kind of actually enjoyed it for what it was, just a brutal LF blood fest. But definitely had none of the elements of the original, which was disappointing.

This is my ultimate filming location to visit. Your footage was amazing, but also sad to see the state it's in. Is this still here now or has it been built on. I think they should leave it as it is imo clear the road and making it for fans to see for sure.

It’s still there. This was all shot in October 2021. I actually just revisited this week and plan to upload another video soon!

@@davefilms345 well only the Camden apartments have been built on that land and they are further out near the entrance off what is now Hester’s Crossing. There’s been talk of the remaining not going to be around for much longer for many years now, but I’ve been coming here nearly annually for 5yrs and nothing additional has been added. My suggestion to any and all fans who have any interest in visiting the location to just come out sooner rather than later, cause even though it’s not being developed on yet, it’s becoming less and less recognizable as the years pass and in the summer it’s more difficult to even get through the growth at the entrance.

@@AdamWasHere I live in the apts. across the street from the hill, not the Camden apts., but further down the hill at the pond area. I can see the hill from my living room window. A few days ago, I heard a lot of machinery noise coming from that direction and wondered what was going on. Tonight, I took a walk up the sidewalk along the side of the hill and was kinda shocked to see a lot of the trees had been cut down at the top, and there's a tractor parked on the land, so something's happening. It was a bit upsetting to know it's starting to change. Just thought I'd pass it along.

@@AdamWasHere AWESOME!!! Thanks so much! I'm going to Bagdad Cemetery tomorrow and then driving to Round Rock to spend the night. I'll wake up Sunday morning and go to QHR. I plan on finding a hotel near QHR tomorrow night so I can get there at sunrise like in the movie. Thank you so much for your swift response and video, man!
