people forget this movie. when someone says ‘80s horror movies’ people think of nightmare on elm street, friday the 13th, the shining, the 80s halloween movies etc. and people usually think texas chainsaw massacre is irrelevant, as the later movies got pretty damm bad. but these early movies man, movies aint like this no more. this movie is a horror comedy that doesnt take itself seriously and is still dark. it has one badass final girl, a badass lieutenant, some wacky cannibals, and a big scary dude wielding a massive chainsaw. and what is wrong with that? people who remember this movie and love it, thank you.

Growing up I only liked A nightmare on elm street , scream , a nightmare on elm street , Halloween . Growing😢 up in the 2000s where the films were already shit it’s tough . I watched the first one it was good . The 2nd one hands down the best one .

Honestly, the best part of the whole movie was Bill Moseley as Chop Top. Especially that opening scene with him. And I thought the funniest line that made me laugh the hardest was the dog will hunt line

The last genuinely good Texas Chainsaw movie. I like some of part 3 and the remake duo has some cool stuff in it but this is the last one that understood the characters and family. Leatherface not always wanting to follow in the familys path was a good chunk of character that no films since captured. Hes not Jason with a chainsaw, hes a scared little boy with no choice but to follow his family as thats all he's ever known what to do. The family is gold, Lefty, Stretch, and the tracks. All great

This film is called the worst horror movie sequel of all time. I don't see why though. It wasn't that bad. It was actually pretty good and one of my favorite horror movies. Yeah it came out 12 years after the original and it was cheesy and it wasn't as scary as the original, but it's still a good movie. The beginning of this song is so eerie it's awesome. I'll admit when I first played this film and sat down to watch it I was expecting something way darker and scarier so I was initially kind of disappointed with this film as I imagine a lot of people have been since it's release. But it's not that bad of a movie it's watchable. It's not like Leatherface dresses up like a bitch in this one like part 4 man that movie was terrible. This is the way I see it with these films. The original cult classic. The sequel un it was ok passed. The third film is where things got stupid and the last original film out of the series "The next generation" whatever was atrocious. I mean c'mon a transgender Leatherface, Matthew Mcoughnahey what the fuck were they thinking. They must've been smokin some good shit. New Line Cinema revived the franchise in 2003 with a remake and a prequel in 2006, then another 3D film in 2013.
