David, first off thank you for high lighting all of the businesses you do. We're planning a group trip to San Antonio from Houston and we made a list from binging your vids for places that we plan on trying out.That reddish orangie colored salsa more than likely is from a pepper called, "chile de árbol". At the grocery store it's a red 2 - 3 inch skinny dry pepper that is HOT.

First time I ate that type chicken back in the Monterrey Mx in the 80's. 1.50 per whole chicken endless amount of corn tortillas and pico de gallo. 20 bucks is still inexpensive

@@rick5346 me and my bro discovered that place one we were driving around lost and hungry when we were working over there form out of town. I'm glad we did. They also sell carne asada, fajitas, sausage, short ribs, etc. just like a bbq in the back yard.

I use to go to the pollos norteno I remember i went after the Pandemic i bought a whole chicken combo they charged me 38 dollars from that day I never went back

David, how did you manage to give the first and last locations different scores when they're both Pollos Asados Los Norteños? I've been going to both for years. Also, Pollo Asado in Gardenridge? Must be a place owned by Jeff the Chef. 😅

Hey! The scores were based solely on the food I ate at the time of filming. The restaurants didn’t know I was coming and didn’t have time to make any adjustments so I got what everyone else experiences. Factors for the score include taste, texture and presentation. Each location is different and all the chicken is cooked differently at each location.

I used to love this place. I had ordered from one of the ones on culebra near i10 a while back and ordered a burger too. The burger had what seemed to be a piece of Clorox wipe in the patty. Never ordered from them again since. 🤢

I’m sorry, but was highly disappointed in this segment. We are faithful viewers but felt your description of the food did not match the ratings, especially in your first review. If I were a restaurant owner I’d have serious doubts about allowing you to film solely based on your opinion.
