Excellent. Enjoyed this with my morning coffee. I went for a 40 mile ride yesterday….I’m 43. Your dad is amazing. That he can still do a ride/trip like this is incredible. It’s also very good to see you guys doing this together. Great job the both of you. Can’t wait fir the next series. If I was rich I’d fund you to do this year round.

Enjoyed all your series. 71 from your area and decided to try bikepacking based on your series. Just did 110 miles on Katy Trail, caught train back in Jefferson City. You weren't kidding about steep in Jefferson City. Amazed at the mileage you cover. Keep it up!

Awesome day riding. Looks like not too hot but a beautiful day like any other. What month was that actually. I assume it's not now in the middle of summer. That wet section was slippery glad you didn't fall.

When you stay at a hotel for the night, and not at a campsite, what do you do with your bike? I would not be comfortable having it locked up outside over night and more hotels do not allow you to bring the bike into your room. Thanks for the information and videos of your biking adventures!

Good question! I always just come in with the bike like it’s normal. Only one time have I ever been told I cannot bring my bike to my room and that was this year. Luckily they had a garage to put it in. To me it’s no different than someone wheeling their luggage in from the dirty parking lot.

@@bikingbrian The main concern is that more hotels are banning ebikes because they hear of a few fires concerning ebikes and their batteries. Like you said the little bit of dirt tracked in pretty minor.
