If the patchwork OSU O-line continues to provide Howard top tier Pass Pro, it's curtains for everyone. It's been a very impressive thing to watch the O-Line lose their starting LT Josh Simmons who was having a very good season , and Remington award winning Center Seth Mclaughlin and dominate the way they have these past couple games. Also, the pass rush has really come to life for that Buckeyes front, and Caleb Downs, as a true sophomore, may be the best single defensive player in the country. Go Bucks!

Texas beats Michigan, it's because Michigan sucks. Michigan beats Ohio State because they got lucky. Michigan beats Alabama; it's not that Michigan actually has a good D. Texas is used to the default hate parade. Texas DOMINATES - only allows ASU 6 points. But the entire game starts to add up on the D. Texas 3rd quarter committed to the run, and that didn't work but to wear the D out even more. ASU wouldn't allow Texas to run the ball, so Texas couldn't play with a lead. Well - except for the disaster of a deep post call in the 3rd that was intercepted and nearly killed Bond, they weren't letting Quinn sling it until the very end.

Texas literally wins every game just like the ASU game. As a Texas fan it's frustrating and mind blowing, and it's not a new development. They've had this curse for what seems like years. They just can't play with a Lead. It's like they go out, dominate a quarter or two, sleep walk through the third quarter, and finally wake up from a nap late in the game to preserve the win. While they're sleep walking they do everything they possibly can to give the opposition the opportunity to win. Turn overs, costly penalties, failed scoring attempts, anemic offensive production with 3 and outs possession after possession. It mind boggling, and somehow here they are in the final four. They're a super talented roster, and if they could put a complete game together they can beat anyone. They're long overdue for a great complete game. Maybe they can summon up one against Ohio St, but I'm just not confident they can. Hook Em!

OSU game is going to come down to our Defense bailing us out. Not only will they have to play lights out but hope Ewers doesnt gift OSU to ball like he has done in big games in big moments. Gonna be honest they need to start wokring on plays with Manning. I get it he doesnt have the experience of ewers but your not asking him to throw all over the field, he would give you another element to the RPO and play action. Not saying you have to put him in early but if we go to half looking like the same Ewers all year then a change may need to be made.

Quinn delivered when it was needed and he was the best QB on the field that that game. Idk I was kind of disgusted with the play calling. The defense was solid for Texas and they have nothing to be ashamed of. They spent way too much time in the field. Sark has to stop coming out flat a halftime and relying on the defense to hold it together. It’s the third quarter every damn time. This on Sark.

Of the remaining teams, Penn State probably has the best shot at beating OSU. Their defense is fast and deep, their OLine is physical, they have two great RBs, they have an all-world TE, and they have a big, mobile QB who can really sling the ball downfield. UT has a better OLine than PSU on paper, but they got rocked against UGA’s front 7 twice, and couldn’t establish the run against ASU. UT might have a slightly better defense than PSU on paper too, but they aren’t fast like PSU (which you’ll need against OSU to tackle in space), and they are prone to giving up chunk plays (which is a death wish against OSU). ND has a very mobile QB, which could be a recipe to frustrating OSU’s front 7. But they don’t have the downfield game to put up enough points. And while they have a physical defense, I don’t think their LBs are good enough to deal with OSU’s speed.
