Couldn't ride a longhorn in Texas in the mid 1800's cause you couldn't out distance a mounted Commanche back then on one.

GORGEOUS animal and this looks like so much fun, but it is VERY disrespectful to strap the remains of dead bovines on the back and face of a living one. I would love to have a riding longhorn but I sure as heck would make sure my tack was not cow leather, or else I'd be sure the leather was from some other type of animal. Have some respect! It's like strapping the remains of a dead dog on to a living dog. Would you do that?
