Really enjoyed this video! My best friend and I have already made our plans to attend All Hallows Eve in 2024. We've been to the Maryland Renaissance Festival, which I thought was terrific, particularly because of the well shaded environment thanks to them not clearcutting the area. Looking forward to TRF! Hope we can meet you there. By the way, the dog may be doing what mine is...whining that he's not involved in the video watching...lol

This video got me HYPED for my ren fest trip in November. Which weekend was the coldest/wettest for you? My friends and I are going to Barbarian weekend which is mid November. Do you recall what the weather was like for you if you went during November?

@@Kaylz012 November is always when it runs into the nasty rainy territory. I remember one November weekend it was cold and rainy and I’ve never been so miserable 😂 but mead makes it better!

I am going for the 1st time in over 20 yrs. Went out once in costume with the Daily Show (back when Colbert was the New Guy) dressed as a Klingon. I coundn't go 10 steps without someone wanting to take a pic.

It’s truly one of my favorite places! The only other Ren Fest I’ve been to is the one in Louisiana. But I will definitely add Scarborough to the list 😁

As a thirteen or fourteen year veteran of TRF, I highly recommend hitting the Greek Agora when it's raining. There's plenty of covered seating (including at the bar) and the shows take on an entirely different vibe. I was there on that rainy weekend and my daughter and I had a great time. Maybe we will catch y'all next year!

i would reserve ASAP. they usually sellout and started selling 3 months earlier this year. i do the VIP. since it is reserved seating, you can pick your seat if there are any left . well worth it and you get a 2 hour show plus a stein as a keepsake.@@NerdSquish

I used to work the Renaissance festival I used to be part of a group but I'm not part of it no more personal issues but the chainmail shop highly recommended number on the building is 22 if you go there please spend some money the gentleman is in his late '70s gray man been doing it since the place was open I've actually helped rebuild that chocolate the whole time

Hey there! My friends and I will be flying in Thursday and leaving Monday with Sat-Sun access to the festival. Do you know if the fair grounds are open on the weekend only? also, would you say there's plenty to do within the campground on Thursday and Friday when we get in? We're planning on building up a fort at camp with banners and games, invite our neighbors over for some partying and campfire cooking/drinking. Any other advice to make those camping days/nights best? Thanks!

@@konnyknees the fair is only open on the weekends. I’ve never been to the campground but from what I understand, it looks like there’s a lot to do so I’m sure there will be stuff going on at least on Friday, not too sure about Thursday.
