From February 14th-19th, Texas endured a winter storm unlike anything we've seen in a very long time. In fact, it was the first time in over a century that all 254 counties in the state had been under a winter storm advisory.
During the storm, the power grid failed, leaving millions in the dark. Water pipes froze, and burst, damaging thousands of homes and businesses. I was rather lucky, in that I had no damage, but I did go without power for 62 hours, and then without water for a little over 2 days.
I shot all of this on third day that I was without power. Didn't have much juice in the batteries of my cameras but I made it work. Just now getting around to posting the clips.
