I can’t be for sure but I would think the contras possibly sounded better in a basketball arena setting on certain arrangements. The Ocean is all about sound control and dynamics..

​@yourmedicalupdatepodcast7256 but TnSU Aob had done that since Ben Butler was head drum major before going to Michigan and before he became director at Texas Southern University in 1969. And plenty PWI bands have covered the field before famu did it. Lazy is your school's band still not using a tuner to tune their instruments. Lazy is how your school has lower standards and still accepts way more students with lower standards than BOTH TSUs. Lazy is how your school doesn't have as many research avenues or degrees as BOTH TSUs while being a good 20 years older than Texas Southern...so what's the excuse...it can't be that yall work harder. Lazy is that TSU law school has more alumni who are judges than yours has had in the history that yours has been in existence. You always pop up with some ignorant claims, I wish you would you would check sources and dates but again...after band your hbcu doesn't really have that much to offer compared to ANY TSU now does it?
