I have to say Texas Southern is one of the most perfect sounding bands around. No hang overs clean sound I can recognize the song and overall technically sound. Great job to Brian Simmons and his staff

See Texas Southern Don’t Need Size To Compete I Rather Them To Stay Like This When You Got The Great Arrangers There! Solid Sound No Floaters Or Horn Holder’s!! It’s obvious that they don’t need to be a big band to stick to what everybody trying to be today! It’s a lil challenging to keep everyone on one accord! For What I know Texas Southern Always Been The Lil Band With A Big Sound! Now That’s Is Very Much Enhanced They Should Keep It That Way!

The thing that impresses me about The Ocean is their attacks and releases. It's so clean with no hangovers. You can hear every horn being played. Rating: Superior

I'm a PV guy but a native Houstonian. I knew this band was on something different when they played Don Tolliver's Whatcha Need. Then that Say Say Say hit last Mardi Gras in Baton Rouge. Best wishes for prosperous years ahead for The Ocean.

B Simmons turned their program to about face. SU is always the big dawg but I must say the Ocean definitely my second best. They might not be as big as some of them country ass bands and we all know who they are but I’m glad Simmons brought musicianship to that program. The best I ever heard this band play. It took that jukebox leadership to do it😄
