How does this work? Both drivers are at a set speed. One driver counts down to three. Both drivers take off. Who wins and when is the end of the race? Very interesting type of racing.

Depends on what the driver(s) agree to... Generally, I'd say starting speed +100mph, so: 40-140 roll, 60-160, etc. On the shorter hits 60-130 is a very common metric that people measure with GPS's like Draggy. Unfortunately, it can be hard to get an "even" start, and without MPH video from both cars, who's to say they let out at the agreed speed.

I remember street racing in the early 2000's when the FF franchise was just taking off that was the peak. You got a reckless driving ticket and 6 points off your license insurance went up.
