Miss Reid #31 I think you are cool and I say you need a bit more confidence as a pitcher to be a killer. I know you can be a killer. Lets Go Noles !!!!!!

Are face mask not required across the NCAA for pitchers and corner infielders? I see it used at my school(America east conference) so I just assumed it was a rule.

Pitching needs to step up, struggling bad. It's early though, Lonnie will get them straight.

Florida gets way too many calls. Other night with loss against Charlotte they got a questionable call.

Did fsu just not practice defense all offseason?

Pretty sure they did and in watching some of the early miscues even by veterans has me shaking my head. Realizing these players are human and we sometime expect robotic play it does comeback to being human. As for younger players with little experience I can see jitters maybe but playing the ball in air either not following it or going back or misjudging it has to do with timing . Hopefully as season progresses all these miscues as simple as they look on film will be cleaned up! I am impressed with the overall growth of Amaya Ross not only with fielding but her hitting ability as for many seasons she was used as pinch runner so we never saw her true capabilities but now we see she is very skillful . Happy for her getting her opportunity to start and contribute with many facets of her game not just her speed and ability to fly around the bases , that bat has gotten hot ! I see improvement in Michaela with throws and quicker reactions behind the plate , her bat is starting to come to life early on in season . With time our pitching will develop in the “ pitch by committee “ approach , Emma looks better and Royalty is solid hoping Kenna finds her groove as she must shoulder that weight that Kat gave us for so long . Next year with addition of Jazzy that staff will be formidable with growth from this year and two more power pitchers coming it to help ! The veterans we will lose will be a lot but hopefully good development and new recruits that talent will deliver! Go Lady Noles onto Clearwater !

Reid's mechanics are not good. She threw hard with decent movement last year, now looks terrible. Was she hurt? Or am I thinking of someone else?
