Thank you so much for posting. My parents live in that area. And I couldn’t find out much as it had just happened. It hit in all the counties by them but not them. It’s crazy how that happens, but I am grateful. They live in Grayson County. Stay safe!❤️🌹🌪️

The one in Sanger was 5.5 miles from my house and it was still super scary with the wind and silence temp changes and the color of the sky. We saw the flashes of light from my back yard

Yes the raging winds went pretty far out from the tornado

Thank you so much for what y'all do. You put your lives on the line to give us the most accurate information. You most definitely saved lives yesterday. Praying for all the families mourning their losses after a terrible tornado struck Cooke county valley view. Does anyone happen to know the classification of the tornado that hit the truck stop, and Cooke county. Looking at the damage it looked to be a massive tornado.

This went in for a long time. I started watching the news at 9pm on Fox4 and the last time when I had gone was at 1:30 in the morning. I was so scared when it was coming in my direction then it turned and went away

They go in on the ground to have eyes on what's going on. Often they are first point of conformation working with meteorologists monitoring the storm. It saves lives even though theirs is at risk. For instance... during this last tornado outbreak these guys were able to warn a lot of people and get confirmations on sight of what was going on before the NWS even got their ish together to put out proper warnings.
