Tornader: (ebbs closer to houses) Midwesterners on their porch: “Should we go to the basement now?” The Tornada: “Nah fam, go to the attic!” Facetiousness aside, I pray that everyone impacted are okay. :( God Bless the families. ❤

Fact: Storm chasers almost never get swept up by tornadoes because the sheer weight of their balls keeps them anchored to the ground :D

Biden better step up for all the peoples n families that been hit by tornadoes from Iowa , Nebraska , Oklahoma, Kansas , Texas .. if you can throw hundreds of billions of tax money to other countries you certain can help them all here in the country .

N jobs wise for them to get to put foods on the tables is the worse of the worse time for them . I can’t put in words the struggles were already bad before for all of us n now to be part of this disasters my heart goes out to them .

A tornado is an ordinary centrifugal fan with a diameter of 600 km. There are several ways to stop a tornado. Let's build a small tornado proportional to the big one. This is a centrifugal fan with a diameter of 60 m, a height of 2 m and a hole inside of 2 m This is proportional to the 600 km diameter, 20 km height and 20 km hole in a real tornado. Let's start spinning it and understand that a destructive tornado can be neutralized if: 1) supply air pressure from the edge of the tornado to its center through a pipe; 2) heat the air in the center with large torches; 3) destroy the wings of the clouds at the edges of the tornado, which lead to a decrease in pressure in the center. Conduct experiments and you will understand everything yourself.

they are not timber framed they are stick framed. i agree that those houses are not strong enough for a 200mph wind. a concrete house would hold up but the roof would still be torn off if it was a basic truss and osb sheathing.

Wow! those homes look as if they exploded. Might want to reconsider materiel when or if you plan to rebuild. A 2X4 is merely a javelin and no match for a tornado.
