Best Defense still has to be the Offense though. I wish we put TD's up against GA first. Texas Defense would have been pinning there ears back early instead of getting ran on by the 2nd string QB late in the game 😅. if the Offense gets it going yeh the Defense will be more Dominant then they allready are which is crazy to say. Offense not scoring TD's puts the Defense in really stressful​ situations.@@CleanPocketUD

I agree we can't turn the ball over. In our 3 toughest opponents this season (Georgia 1, Georgia 2, and A&M) Quinn has 4 INTs and 3 Fumbles. We absolutely have to stop giving these teams (basically) free points. Make them drive the 75 yards to beat our D. If they can do that 4 times in the game, then they will earn it. But we need to make them earn it.

You guys don't have a pass rush equal to ours to pressure Ewers and Texas defense is elite. Only reason we scored a lot the first game against them is because we consistently started with a short field. If we played them a 3rd time the game could easily go either way. Don't pretend like they ain't competing in the SEC.

Yes, sad. But Klubnik is dangerous running, he is the run game. But, he can't afford to get knocked out of the game. But also he will do whatever it takes to win the game in his home town/state. That Texas def will be primed. Clemson may hang around early, but Texas will limit their points, unless Texas turns it over. Either a comfortable win for Texas, or tight at the end with probably Texas winning. Clemson gets out, Texas turns it over, then Clemson wins. Hook 'em!

As a Clemson fan we have also watched enough blocked field goals this year that we can barely count with our fingers. We have the kicker but the protection may not be enough against Texas if it came to that on the Clemson side.

Just so you know, Clemson has made bank for many years on being the perceived underdog, time after time after time. Just ask Oklahoma, Texas AM, Auburn, Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame. LSU, etc etc. They want NO PART of post season play with the Tigers. You WILL have a tough out in front of you, even at home. I would suggest you temper your expectations of dominance and pray the ball and fate bounces your way. It's more likely to come down to those things.

Offense needs to step it up, all year they have been whats holding this team back. In both losses and in some games that were closer then they should have been due to the offense. Its either stupid penalties or Ewers hurting them. They have the talent they just need to execute.
