Texas Weather: Increasing Heat This Weekend; Isolated Storms Too!

Man this humidity is kill me. Every night it's 70-90%. It feels like a Sona every night. I drink 2 gallons of water a night because how hot and humid it is. Im so sick of this heat. Its not even dry heat. Its just Miserable.

Be sure to replenish your Electrolytes, too. Salt, magnesium, potassium, etc. The Concho Valley doesn't have the humidity; but the dry heat can be just as miserable.

Whoa, hold on, Mr. Baldy In Chief, you just need to get a great big glass of Iced Caffiene and that Doom and Gloom will fade. The Low Triple digit heat, is NOTHING, in August. Just another sunny day in Texas; nothing we haven't dealt with for the last 30 years, in my case. I had a couple of years out of the state, or it would be 50 years in state. it's just August, so it's hot, but it's not nearly as hot as the last two summers. You aren't the Harbinger of Doom, that you think you are. Just get something cold to drink, and life will feel much better.

Climatologically we should be seeing temps no warmer than 97 ( Dallas)at this point in August so we're running above normal with triple digits Hopefully we break this excessive heatwave before the end of the month 🤞

That is not correct…the statistical average high is 97. That doesn’t mean “no warmer than 97.” Triple digits are completely normal for Texas in August.

@@dr.markevers8331 Not this late in August . Before the end of the month our temps should be trending downward. I've lived near Dallas for 24 years and the majority of our 100 degrees temps occured in July.Last year where I lived our 100 degrees heat ended with July
