Felicia's reaction is one of the most heartbreaking moments in soap opera history. Tony's goodbye to BJ should have won Brad Maule a daytime Emmy. It's some of the best acting I've ever seen.

She should Have Got A Award to And the Little Girl who played Maxie when she found out
@jenbranker4775 Жыл бұрын
That’s what everyone was say. I’m not a very emotional person, but even I cried when Felicia found out who Maxie got her heart from. I remember thinking that Kristina Wagner was just a beautiful face, and no acting skills. Boy was I wrong! She and Brad gave one of the best performances in daytime. Over time we have seen couples lose children on daytime, but nothing came close to the writing, and the actors gave during this time. Watching Jaclyn Zeeman at the Nurses Ball 4-23 remembering all the key moments of her time in GH made me remember this wonderful time in GH history.❤️

This clip was so heartbreaking. Frisco/Felecia are so happy that Maxie gets her miracle. She gets a heart, but then they are devastated when they learn that the heart belongs to BJ, their little niece.. It was just so sad, and that scene where Frisco learns that, and Tony tells him, it was just pure shock, and he could hardly speak, and he hugged Tony. and said "Thank You, his voice breaking, and then says How sorry he is.. It brings me to tears every time I watch it..

JW did a good job in this depicting the feeling of needing to be cautious to not over-step where he felt he no longer really had a right and holding back from reaching out to her a few times - must have been a bit of torture for the character but I like that the show had them all being respectful of one another vs. any of them being hostile or aggressive to each other - Very nicely done.
@kimplacek53152 жыл бұрын
You make excellent points. JW conveyed very well for these characters what would have been obvious discomfort in a real situation between these two parents and the third wheel, Mac. And, Leslie Charleston, Stuart Damon and Shell Kepler were also delicate with the sensitive nature of how they danced around the character Bonnie’s situation. These things could have been overly dramatic because of their soapy melodrama which would’ve thrown off what was playing out in the story of BJ/Maxie. The actors were all so very good!

I've said this before GH is always bringing people back from the dead they need to bring back the Jones family!! Tania said it before she got killed off Tony helped cover Duke death and he was working for the mob she told Tony if he helped Duke the mob was going to retaliate it's a storyline I'm still waiting for them to bring on.. Anything is possible on GH

After watching GH since the beginning in the 60’s this storyline and in particular this episode, I was not able to watch GH until 2010 my heart broke so badly to think they had the wee girl die and I wasn’t even a parent back then. It’s just the saddest show of all time for me.
@natalieps23874 жыл бұрын
Oh god not barbara Jean's heart ! I'm sobbing so hard right now. I think monica really was thinking of tony. Too hard to be there . Traumatic. Here is the difference in the last golden age of soaps which was the 90s. Jake webber coming back from.being brain dead & donating an organ to Jocelyn was just like bj being brain dead & the heart to maxie. Jake being alive is so ridiculous it's like if bj suddenly came back after 5 years. And that is why soaps are a mess & all the good writers & producers are either dead or retired. I stopped watching gh in 2012 bc I saw the oltl crew ruining gh just like oltl & I checked in on it in 2015 & seeing jake was alive was so stupid I just shut gh off . I watched again for Jason's return & it was a mess. I'm done & i know partly low budget is to blame but good solid writing doesnt need money. Except to pay the writers but if the writing is good & their are still good actors then that's all u need. Who cares about big budget locations or extra sets or glitzy clothes or special effects. Plays are done on one stage.
