My grandma owned a bar when I was a kid. She played this song at least 5 times a day. I loved it and still do. I seen them play in Greene Texas in 2000 or 2001 (can't remember the year). It's a great memory.

They played my cousin's wedding. My cousin was a songwriting friend of Freddy Fender. They were the best. We pushed great grandma in her wheelchair up close to the dance floor where she clapped along and sang. Great memory!

My grandma was a huge Freddy Fender fan and then Texas Tornados. I was there during this!!!! Funny story.... Earlier that day... My boyfriend and his 2 friends did a 2 hour floating trip on the Guadalupe river... 1/8th of the way.... Our rafts had a hole in them and ended up being a 4- 5 hour river run!!! Ugh!! Half the way... We thought we could get out of the water to "water log" out until we saw a sign... No tresspassers!! You will be shot!!!! So we kept on going... Of course we ran out of beer and smokes but finally we were done!! Then went to a winery... Pretty close to this club!! We were about to leave and a friend of mine saw the Texas Tornados are playing!! We went in.. Got drinks and danced all night to them!! Had so much fun!!! I know we are somewhere in this video!! They said they were filming this!!! They were GREAT!!! So happy to end such a horrible day at the river to end this by dancing and singing w/ the Texas Tornados!!! It wasn't funny at the time... But now... One of the BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE AND FUNNIEST AND FUN MOMENTS TO END SUCH A BAD DAY!!! Love this band!!! Thanks for the GREAT MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!

Hey..dont get no better than this when you hear live music and the beer is ice cold. I grew up in Texas...even spent better part of my Army years there....and hell no there aint no place like Texas anywhere. I driven through them old border towns in an old ford truck with my dog hanging out the window..I have slept out in the desert...ate some world class tex mex food and ha a wonderful few decades there ..and the lovely ladies of Texas who remain in my memories will keep this old man company for a long long time.
