that's sweet. I wast just opening seperate text documents to write my book. Since I am not satisfied the direction it went, I considered to restart it from scratch. Nice to find stuff where I can format properly

Thank you for excellent tutorials. I watched Part 1 and Part 2 and learned a lot. I have utilized some of the things I have learned in my lates book 'Dog Trot', and have put an acknowledgment in the front matter. I think your tutorials were the easiest and clearest I have seen. Thank you.

is it easy to upload your book to KDP amazon with this software?

You use OpenOffice/LibreOffice to export the pdf, and then just upload that pdf to KDP.

This is something I have been looking for. Thank you so much. Question: You make the outer margin .5 and the top and bottom .5 and yet some publishers require or suggest. .7 for top and bottom. Comment?

.5 for margins is just an example. The important part is just knowing how to set them. So, yes, .7 top and bottom is fine if that's what you think looks better.
