If companies and marketers don't want to be sued, then they shouldn't break the law. It's simple: do not call cellphones without permission, text without permission, use prerecorded telemarketing messages, or otherwise violate the law. Respect, learn, and understand that the MAJORITY of consumers don't want to be harassed by telemarketing calls.

Hopefully, more businesses will take TCPA lawsuits seriously. A simple phone validation with DNC and TCPA check will do to prevent them from calling people who opted not to be called or bothered.

The law states that the company isn't allowed to make the call in the first place.
