The casting director really had a foresight in casting the main lead actors; Darren Wang, Li Qin, and Xiao Zhan. When this film was being made, the actors were relatively obscure. Li Qin became more famous from Joy of Life and Princess Agents and Xiao Zhan after the release of The Untamed. Now Darren Wang (FINALLY!!) from this drama 😍❤. Out of all the Chinese "A List" actors, I can't see anyone more perfect for this role than Darren Wang 王大陆!! He is The Wolf...hot 🔥, strong, mysterious...a complete package. He and Li Qin are amazing together. Absolutely love this drama eventhough I think it will have a sad ending (currently on ep 26...everything is pointing to a sad ending 😞 😢).

I LOVE WHEN he was so innocent as wolfie. Then he turned to lord bo. Which made me kinda sad, cause he seem to lost his smile, and silliness. He became a warlord. i wanted cute wolfie back too ma zhaixing :(

They have such a excellent chemistry, this actor Derren is so varonil and have such a beautiful smile. So sad though from previews that I have seen, she doesn't marry him, she marries the other guy(Xiao Zhan) which is also very handsome 😪🤭
