You are one of the most professional barbers I’ve seen on KZbin. I wish I could have my hair cut by you. I currently cut my own hair. I have since 2016 . But currently with COVID-19 I am growing it out to try a new style and I wouldn’t mind trying out this style. I am not sure thought if I can acquire this hairstyle with my hair.

Instead of turning the clipper upside down to cut loose hairs, which I believe is only a last resort option because it will grow out badly, use a straight razor that is made for hair cutting

I have a hard time trying to understand what guards you are using on your clipper when fading. What do you mean by half guard and do you have like 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 guards?
@simongb78974 жыл бұрын
Only having just bought some clippers from what understand it's the difference between open and closed guard.So with a 4 guard on and fully open that's lever down that is effectively cutting as 4.5.Half way up is 4.25 then fully up / closed is 4.

How long does it take on average for you to complete a skin fade haircut with a textured top?
@RegalGentleman4 жыл бұрын
Takes about 45 minutes from client sitting in the chair to finishing. Dan offers 45 minute slots with consultation, hair washing and styling. For the videos a little longer as Dan is talking to camera so about an hour from start to finish. Obviously some hair types and styles are quicker and some a little longer. Cut out the consultation, washing and styling (and talking to camera) and then probably about 25-30 minutes on average
