Once again, I nearly fainted when the client said he wanted to cut his gorgeous hair. But WOW - you gave him an awesome makeover Dan. Absolutely brilliant hair style. I envy him so much. Your talent is first class. 👍😍

I remember this client. He has the best hair . It looked amazing before it was cut, and I remember I nearly freaked when began cutting it, but the final textured hairstyle was one of the best you’ve ever done Dan. I envy your client. 👍😍

Love your skills, techniques and your detailed tutorial! Like a few others have commented, I thought I was going to fall out with the client wanting to cut such a nice head of hair! As you were cutting, I was getting very nervous that this was going to be a plain, basic haircut but was wowed with the finished results! I shouldn’t have been nervous, all your cuts and styles are awesome!

Looks a lot like the haircut I had in 81, when my mom (a hairdresser) cut it on vacation, when I finally wanted to get rid of the 70ies long shag. Wish the density of my hair was still present. Lost so much, and I dont think, I could pull off a cut like that any more. Oh, the perfect hair of youth, how I miss you ;)

He went from looking 25 to more like 15 😯 Dan, did you learn all those tricks in barber school? Or post barber school? I went to barber school a long, long time ago (1966-67) and we didn’t learn all those cool tricks. Haircuts were mostly pretty different back then though. Then I went to work on army base barber shop so I really didn’t have much opportunity to learn all the fancy tricks that they may have taught at styling schools.

So, I have to say it's a ridiculous hairstyle for a man. Why did a man with a nice hairstyle want to sacrifice it for the look of a 9-year-old boy (or a 20-year-old woman in the mid-1960s)? I think he looks absurd.
@alanmctavish48023 жыл бұрын
i have always thought these hair dressers spend more time cutting and going over there hair than they need to. he must have cut his fringe 5 times, and in diffirent ways. a good barber could have did that in half the time and half the money as well. alot are conmen.

I'm not so sure about the use of the word 'cool' here? I see this as more of the standard '18-year-old slightly geeky-with-no-fashion-interest Uni student' look. Then again, if someone tells you that something is cool and enough people latch-on to the notion, it just might become that. This barber is either a styling and cutting genius or someone who often wings it and can get away with murder; you decide! In fairness, barbering is probably somewhere in-between for everyone, with clients not knowing what they want, bodging-up their own hair and expecting miracles, being overly fussy (for £15), or having unrealistic expectations on what their hair type will do. After following this channel for a while though, I do think that showing your barber or stylist pics of what you're aiming-for is the way forward though, as embarassing as that is to do.
