I am not an a&r but I know good music.....your voice is awesome, but the beat is drowning you out and it's hard to understand what you're saying, I use to have that same problem, tell them to turn your beat down while you're recording and you have to be louder and more confident, practice your lyrics 100 times before you record and truthfully, go back in and rewrite, just listen and decide what needs to be improved a bit, make the biggest impact with your words, and after 1 min maybe 1:10, when the beat changes, make your voice escalate, like chill cool voice and let it build going into the chorus. I need a wow factor to make me wanna hear you, like in Teyanna song it was that part, my nights with you, my life with you... I fell in love with the song from that moment on.
