@@Unknown-kn9lk Without it the new one will not work: I'm not sure what exactly will not work, if it's CAN communication or smth else. Even the new cable contains a connector for the old display. In some other videos it is explained in details. I mounted the android radio in my Megane III, did all the firmware/android updates, I also left the old display and all works as ecpected. Maybe except radio which loses signal and RDS AF doesn't work well (maybe there is smth wrong with my antena or amplifier).

@@peterpacinda395 Yes, there is also the outside temperature and opened doors information displayed on the screen. If you use media player (I'm not) you can switch the songs. You can change radio station, change volume, mute etc. The only thing I don't like is the radio signal strength. I had to disable RDS AF (alternative frequencies), otherwise the radio was jumping between frequencies. Without AF I had to save different frequencies of my favorite station to listen to it while traveling between different provinces. Maybe I need a better antenna.

@@DanyWay I will give it a try today with instalation. I have Tom Tom navi, so can I use GPS antena from old system? What abou sound, Is it much better? And new microphone works fine too?

Perhaps not, you should contact the seller and ask him, maybe they have different plugs and controller for it.
