If anything, yes, technically Beast Wars is the G2 TF series for many, but not all TF fans like Beast Wars. I'm in between generations of G1 and BWs and I don't really like BWs, and in the resurgence of TF shows I saw the og RID, and the Unicron Trilogy, and none connected with me, even as an Anime fan. It was until TF Prime aired, which I was very skeptical about, and it did connect with me, to the point that I wish the G1 series to be edited, revoiced and rescored to be similar to TFP. But all of that is my subjective view and preference. I have liked the inclusion of the BWs characters with the G1 characters and even the TFP in the same media, because to me they all are characters from a very wide and dare I say, transforming world.

This was a great episode! Convoy introduced the audience to villains that are human. Humans have posed as antagonists before in the Transformers universe. But Transformers Prime introduced Mech, a terrorist organisation that proved to be a legitimate threat outside of the Decepticons. This is evident with Optimus Prime cautioning Fowler not to take Mech lightly. Even going so far as to compare Silas to Megatron before he ignited the war on Cybertron. On the whole, the writers did an excellent job with Mech. We got to see an enemy that not only was a threat to both the Autobots and Decepticons, but also adapted and evolved as the series progressed.

Sometimes I just notice whenever Starscream is in command of the decepticons instead of Megatron, Starscream really had moments of his troops especially Knockout and Breakdown beating down prime and the autobots a lil easy, even when Starscream had a chance to destroy Optimus but was stopped by Megatron, litteraly I hate that Megatron has the obsession of optimus in these moments and even sparing him for pleasure, Starscream litteraly could have ended all of it.

The car chase gave me FAF 1 vibes. If they did end up deactivating and grappling hooking Prime, then dragged him while the Autobots pursuits them, that would great. In fact, I think the truck Dom stole was a similar model to the BB Optimus Prime.
