@@TheRealSeaCrab God I wont ever forgive that map for the god-awful 2nd spawn point where the sight line is so long, the places to manuver around is next to zero and you can be sniped from your own spawn before you even step foot out.

​@@civilsecuritylite12054 it's not the map or the maker's fault. The map was made for a competition in aesthetics, not gameplay, and the maker left it incomplete for the longest time. Valve just stumbled upon it, maybe thought it was funny, and just added it with no playtesting

It’s just down to leadership, Invasion saw to that, Frontline was different because the leadership didn’t actually do much and just requested maps and cosmetics

And it will end up being a mess and all that blablabla Valve even gave that opportunity for left 4 dead 2 in 2020 with similar results (community even end up complaining becuase exploits were fixed in campaign lmao and ppl complaining about a 2 chapter map even though other one existed and no one ever complained about it) So yeah tf2 and left 4 dead 2 community just cant make their minds up on what their want, and even if they get what they exactly want ,they will complain again and tell "hey brick it back like how it was before" (like last left 4 dead 2 update)

And we definively need the frontline update But here is how i want it: Gaben ( scince he is the dick who changes shit, e.g. the huo long heaters firework stuff) can't tell what should and shouldnt be added and he cant change stats, only map designs, also, the tanks and others are definively adding, so shut up gaben, your lazy to update, then you cant tell the frontiers what to do, they'l add what THEY want, not you.

I was incredibly disappointed that Frontline never got released in the update, I was looking forward to playing it since the SFM trailer uploaded (which was a blast to watch) :(

I remember back when Mayann was "announced" I was actually seeing Mesoamerican civilizations in history class, so I was really hyped for it, but unfortunately nothing ever came from it.

There was one quite before Robotic Boogaloo, that effectively was like, 70 reskins made by the community for weapons (This was bas when the Soldier's Escape Plan and Equalizer were One Pickaxe), it reskinned a lot of weapons into medieval versions of themselves, but I no longer remember the name for it, just remember ValVe promoting it.

I chose not to add the community updates prior to Robotic Boogaloo, because to be frank they are kind of boring to talk about, no real theme, no real history and were the same as regular updates.

Crazy that a bunch of workshoppers got together and pushed for a community update recently that they knew wasn't going to happen, then told the community to vote for their stuff on the workshop to get Valve's attention, implying Valve would ever do a community update again, when that's a flat out lie. Now they get to run off with the hat crate money like bandits.

It has everything that full updates have: new maps, news cosmetics, sfm trailer, new weapons (that's are reskins for now) Everybody talking about it and how questionable it is, so go on, watch someone who made video talking about it Even if it pretty fun, I doubt it gonna get into the game (maybe maps, taunt, cosmetic, but not like huge update)

That is a shame, I would love to see Iron Gauntlet in the game. MvM is really neglected and filled with gambling addicts nowadays so an update focusing on it would be very nice.

Am I the only one thinking Valve should assign, not suggest, ASSIGN ten developers to rebuild TF2 from the ground up to clean all that spaghetti code and keep the game updated? The games got a massive community still, and nothing seems to kill it off so far. I get that the game isn't making them too much money, and that their development policy is to work on what they're interested in, but at this point TF2 is still holding up in the test of time and they should provide a genuinely loyal community some loyalty in return.... Money is always an issue in community projects, it starts to blur too many lines. They should do like the Left 4 Dead 2 most recent community update: no profits for anyone, only labor of love works.
