It had uses, just stickies are 10 times out of 10 the solution, just one Uber on anyone talking fire leaves the sentry open to the 3 stickies kaboom maneuver. It’s not a Red tape problem, it’s why do other classes make this feel worthless.

​@@fantastikboom1094 Each sticky deal 120 dmg. 8 stickies deal 960 dmg more than enough to kill the sentry. Not to mention, the sentry have to be downgrade before being upgrade which leave it at 432 health and only needs 4 stickies to destroy.

This is also possible in MvM. During the first wave of a mission, you have the freedom of upgrading (and degrading) buildings in the upgrade station. It gets trickier at later waves, where the upgrades become locked, once you press "accept" or walk out of the upgrade station trigger after upgrading, because then you can't undo the health upgrade anymore. If you have a macro or a program, your building(s) can survive swarms of rockets. Please note that keeping a macro like that running over time will make the client lag every time you press the upgrade/degrade (+/-) button. To solve this, just execute the command "hud_reloadscheme". This exploit has been used for a long time, just not reported in Valve Softwares' Source 1 Issues.

​@@packageolies510 Indeed you're right. The more health the buildings have during the exploit, the more likely they are to survive the bursts of damage from potential multiple robots. If an engineer is coordinated to know when the bursts of damage will happen during a wave, this will be a piece of cake, even for a very aggressive stance for the Dispenser and the Sentry Gun.
