Things that can effectively stun the Uber target are generally good, this of course includes taunts. The huntsman taunt in particular because it is the fastest taunt kill. Though, unlike the holiday punch, you are unlikely to be able to stun multiple targets. If you intend on using the holiday punch, getting the target as well as the medic is a good idea, because it doesn't matter if you stunned the target if the medic can just switch to a different teammate.

The thing about the Holiday Punch is that it doesn’t matter if you have Uber, if it touches the back part of the hitbox, it’ll trigger the Schadenfreude ability so an Uber is completely negates by either punching the Medic or the Ubered person
