My best guess on the objectors is those are probably APNGs, which pretty much work exactly like pngs in programs that can't display apngs (I would assume this includes tf2) but in your browser they would show up as being animated

well the thing is a lot of the bots have real players who take the time to keep them up working on them. so if you needed to do a basic captcha before logging in it wouldn't fix the problem. the people who make the bots would just log in, fill the captcha, and set the bot free to do whatever

I wish, but unfortunately having the game files doesnt actually let you open it, as it will check your steam library. SAM also doesnt work for the same reason. The only way to get the items, outside of tradeables of course, is just to start a family share or buy a key.
