back scatter is fun, though it does fall off in later waves imo

Scout basically always has the back scatter if he uses the fan, the only advantage comes from not having to switch between the two weapons. So when your scattergun gets upgraded the damage you deal is high enough that swapping to the fan is still worth it compared to just running back scatter.
