Even scorch shot needs direct hits, it's main function is applying knockback from a distance. The splash damage from it can be harassment at best and is easily mitigated by medics and dispensers. So always aim for direct hits, you'll get better in time.

Same, sometimes you try to reflect the projectiles pretty hard and you get killed, other times you just press m2 casually and kill 3 persons with a crit rocket that you didn't noticed at all and get mid shocked and just say something like "what just happend?"

No downsides? Pyro has the shittiest range and damage output. You topscore on casual servers because there is no teamplay there. And soldier is way much easier. Yet claiming either of them takes no skill is just brainless tbh, and if you are so annoyed both have their counters.

2:10 I'm always amazed when I see this. How do you get a sentry that's locked onto you to lose that lock? It seems like he just jumps but there has to be more to it? If I do that I get sent across the map if I'm not dead instantly

BigSteph Sometimes if you crouch jump in another direction it can take a second for the sentry to lock back onto you. Mind you, you need to be quite close as well as fast enough to do do it.

@@m0xilia Yes, i tested that. Crouching makes the sentry lock into you slower so, if you crouch jump and hold crouch, it's a free pass to "sentry-free" area. Obviously being close to the sentry and trying to destroy it
